Haha. Jesus Christ-on-a-cracker... this was so much work...
So, funny story. I downloaded that 30 day free trial version of Photoshop from Adobe's website (which is awesome, by the way) and spent the last 12 hours trying to figure out how the buttons worked. There are about a gajabifillion different settings and brushes and tools that I've never even heard of let alone know what they do.
But whatev.
Figured I'd try something easier than Oyster District Wedding to try to color on my first try with Photoshop (that one is destined for color as soon as I get the hang of this crazy fandangled program!). The only thing I've ever used computer wise has been MS Paint, and an occasional Oekaki board. But this was a whole new monster, so please, cut me some slack...
So here it is, Stars May Collide, the final colored version.

P.S. If anyone has some helpful tips regarding Photoshop CS3, please do impart them here!!!
P.P.S. Did anyone else catch those AMAZING spoilers for the last few episodes? Zutara FTW!
This beats the crap out of my attempt! I love it so much. I mean, I've been using PS for a while now, and there's no way I can even imagine how you were able to do this so incredibly well!
I promise I'll fav it ASAP (I'm on a crappy computer right now that won't let me. Sorry )
If you google "PS tutorials" or "PS drawing" or some variation of that, there are a bunch of tutorials that can be found. There are also a bunch of CG forums (whose names escape me) that are made simply for photoshop genius to post their step by step WIP and get critiques before the final product. I'm sure you'll be able to find one pretty easy through google. I'll link to one here if I can remember the name.
Some of the stuff there is amazing. By the way, great job on the coloring. I've seen people who've been using Photoshop for years who don't know what the hell they're doing.
